World-leading aircraft repair and engine maintenance company, GT Engine Services (GTES), is sponsoring a new music festival happening in Bishop’s Stortford this summer.
Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park, organised by ITVET, takes place on Saturday 16th July at Sworders Field. It’s a free day out for all the family with an incredible line-up of acts soon to be announced including big names and local rising stars.
Unlike other music festivals, Party in the Park isn’t commercially driven. It’s all about giving back to the community with the sole purpose of celebrating local heroes and raising money for charity. To put on a free community event of this scale relies on the support and generosity of local businesses like GTES.
Greg Macleod, Managing Director at GTES, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring Party in the Park. After the past couple of years, it’s a great opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our local heroes who go above and beyond to serve the community. Party in the Park is such an important day in the Bishop’s Stortford calendar and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Daryl Fuller, CEO of ITVET, said: “We’re really grateful to GT Engine Services for sponsoring Party in the Park. We couldn’t do it without the support of other businesses and members of our community. We’re very proud of everyone coming together and working hard to make this a day to remember for our local heroes.”
GT Engine Services provide engine management services to the global aviation industry. Based at London Stansted Airport, the company has worked with some of the biggest players in the UK, US, Europe, and beyond.
There’s still time for companies to get involved in Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park. For more information visit: https://www.stortfordheroes.co.uk/get-involved/.
