The parent company of Retail Report, technology provider ITVET, has donated laptops to local charity, Grove Cottage, as part of its Laptops for Schools initiative.
Richard Smith, Treasurer, from Grove Cottage said: “We’re very grateful to the lovely team at ITVET for the donation of laptops and a tablet which will be used to support Grove Cottage members and their families.”
CEO of ITVET Ltd, Richard Fountain, said: โSupporting local charities is a core value of our company, so we’re pleased we could make this worthwhile contribution.
“Grove Cottage does amazing work in our community providing social and educational activities for people with learning difficulties. We appreciate everything they do which is why we’ve made this donation. As part of our continued support, they’re also one of the headline charities for our upcoming community event, Stortford Heroes: Party in the Park.”
With the widened technological divide brought on by the pandemic, ITVET launched Laptops for Schools to help bridge that gap. Since the first lockdown, ITVET has donated over 1,000 laptops to schools, charities, and community organisations across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
As the world re-emerges from the pandemic, ITVET continues to drive the initiative thanks to the generosity of its clients and other local businesses.
Companies with unwanted laptops in working condition should contact ITVET via the website: https://www.itvet.co.uk/laptops-for-schools.
