ITVET has recently donated IT equipment to Stratford School Academy to support children with their education during and post-lockdown. The donation was part of their Laptops for Schools initiative and includes a selection of PCs for the new school library and iMacs for the music department.
The COVID-19 pandemic made significant impact on the way children access education. This highlighted that not every child has the technology to access online education and support. Laptops for Schools was set up to address digital inequality and inclusion and help bridge this gap.
ICT Network Supervisor, Shabs Jaleel, said: “Stratford School Academy is delighted with the generous donation from ITVET. It has really helped our staff and pupils during the lockdown and with our newly built library.”
CEO of ITVET Ltd, Daryl Fuller, said: “It was a privilege to provide support to Stratford School Academy, ensuring their students have the right equipment for their learning.
ITVET is committed to long-term sustainability and supporting the communities where we live and work. Laptops for Schools has been an important project to us, and it continues to make a difference in our communities during challenging times.”
If your company has desktops or laptops that you no longer use, please donate them to Laptops for Schools.
