Stortford Heroes welcomes the world-famous jam-maker, Tiptree, as a sponsor for the upcoming music festival, Party in the Park. The free community event, organised by ITVET, takes place on Saturday 16th July at Sworder’s Field, Bishop’s Stortford.
Joint Managing Director of Tiptree, Scott Goodfellow, said: “Bishop’s Stortford hasn’t seen an event as big and impactful as Party in the Park for some time. It’s a privilege to be part of it and to be able to gather together, with a great line-up, to say thank you to those people who have kept our community going over the last two years.”
The purpose of Party in the Park is to celebrate and recognise local unsung heroes. Nominated heroes will be invited as special guests and treated to an exclusive VIP area with free hospitality.
Tiptree will be providing its iconic strawberry jam as part of the free hospitality for local heroes. They join Intercounty, Jackson Square, Enable FLP, Drinks Boutique, and a host of other sponsors to generously donate to the event.
Daryl Fuller, CEO of ITVET, parent company of Retail Report, said: “A massive thank you to Tiptree for their support for Party in the Park. Their generous donation will help ensure our nominated heroes are treated to a well-deserved day of VIP treatment. We couldn’t organise this event without the generosity and positivity of our local business community.”
The Wilkin family have been farming at Tiptree, Essex, since 1757, and making quality preserves since 1885. They grow a wide range of traditional English fruits and use them to make conserves, condiments, and other treats in their nut-free factory by the farm.
Party in the Park is completely community-driven and relies on the support of local businesses and volunteers. To become a sponsor, visit the website: https://www.stortfordheroes.co.uk/get-involved/.
